Skook-A-Palooza started out as a day of celebration remembering the life of our friend and brother. The original event was to last one day and have about 8 bands playing, well, it ballooned into a 3 day event with over 30 bands now participating. There will be live entertainment, camping, good food, games, beer, prizes, and contests for everyone to enjoy. There will be over 150 vendors as well as local artisans so there will be something for everyone.

The 2008 event is scheduled to be held June 27, 28, & 29 at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds.

The types of bands that you will hear will range from rock, pop, classic rock, folk, country, to Christian. We are open to any and all kinds of music as long as it is family oriented and appropriate for all ages!
