Loverboy "Just Getting Started" comeback?

Well we have all seen the a recent comeback of '80s bands and I guess this is no exception.

Growing up in Edmonton, Alberta, Loverboy (from Calgary, Alberta) was almost like a bar band and played frequently in the city. I have seen them numerous times and my favorite song "The Kid is Hot Tonight", oh how that song brings back such memories (yes I was a kid a one time, lol).

I received a friends request from Loverboy RockSTAR (so nosey me has to check all friends before adding them, lol) and was surprised that they are on the "Just Getting Started" tour.
http://www.myspace.com/loverboyrockstar

It appears that Loverboy started touring in April and are going straight through until September. No stops near us though but I am sure they will come to the DTE sooner or later, who knows maybe they will even play at the new "Caesar's Windsor" ;)

To catch up on Loverboy and what's happening and their "Just Getting Started" tour dates,

Rich is a one-man show of more than 25 instruments rolled into a big-sound indie-pop album which can also be synced to a childhood classic, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas (taken from his cd baby). Rich Aucoin had a alternative approach last summer to touring Canada. Rich decided that he was going to start in Victoria, British Columbia (on the opposite side of Canada) and BIKE (yeap a bicycle not the motor kind) his way back to Halifax, Nova Scotia. His inspiration was his father and the Icecream Man http://www.icecreamman.com/. All the time, Rich was fundraising for the Childhood Cancer Foundation http://www.candlelighters.ca/ along the way. You can read all about his journey on The Coast http://thecoast.ca/1bloglistingsbody.lasso?-token.blogref=3585.113118&-token.sorttargetorder=Descending&-token.sorttarget=Title&-skiprecords=50 (I could only find the blog that started on Blog 10 and ended with Blog 54 somewhere in the middle I did find blog 7 and 8, hmmm, but there are 6 pages worth of pics and summaries, some are pretty hilarious, so don't foget to check it out).

Rich is an amazing musician that thinks outside the box. To find out more about Rich, read his myspace blog (that is full of pictures, articles and his "grinch" experiences), purchase the Rich Aucoin ep, watch some videos, find his honorable mentions and of course listen to his music, check out the Rich Aucoin myspace at
