Hurricanes and Cancer....

They destroy lives, homes, communities. They blow in and sweep you off your feet taking everything down in their path. They leave people wondering why? Losing faith, hope and feeling like there's no tomorrow. BUT THERE IS!!

I am on the brink of revealing something INCREDIBLE to you. Something that I still cannot believe has happened to me. It's wonderful, it's beautiful and MAGICAL!

In a matter of time, I will share this disaster relief with you dear friends. Just know, that there IS hope, there IS beauty in this crazy world!I will be in Lake Charles, Louisiana next month, 7th Feb. for another amazing charity event by LIVIN' THE MUSIC! This time for CANCER. We will also be singing for the cancer patients in the hospital on the 6th. I will also stay a few days longer to work on something MAJOR concerning Hurricane disasters, the refugees and FEMA who is doing NOTHING to help those people living in terror.

I'm a HURRICANE DISASTER SURVIVOR! The least I can do is give something back to those who are suffering as I did.

Dilana - Artist of the Day for October 17, 2008

GJK Promotions proudly presents Dilana from South Africa, Holland and Texas, as Artist of the Day.

Dilana plays rock, classic rock and pop music. Dilana has a cd out called "Wonderfool" which scored five singles and four videos and more currently "Darklight". Dilana also supports the Lili Claire Foundation as well as the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, in which she encourages fans to donate.

Dilana is currently on the "God Save Dilana - Acoustic Tour" across Canada with The Murder City Sparrows - http://www.myspace.com/murdercitysparrows - Dilana is playing tonight in Windsor at The Blind Dog at - 671 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, Ontario Cost is $10 and tickets are only available at the door. Doors open at 8:00 and YES I will be there :) I have wanted to see Dilana since her "Rockstar Supernova" days.

The "God Save Dilana" tour began on October 15 and will end in Vancouver on October 29, so get on the tour bus now catch a show, help sell merchandise, help donate a ride, a place to stay or even a home cooked meal (if you love to cook, you could even invite The Murder City Sparrows :) Read Dilana's blog to find out where Eric Eldenlus http://www.myspace.com/erikeldenius and herself will be looking to be staying, maybe in your area where you could help out :)
