Artists of the Day - Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson - September 21, 2007

Today is a special day :)

When looking for a country "Artist of the Day" it was hard to come down to one. There are many awesome musicians out there but to start off I chose to pick one of the biggest duo's of all time. Nope it's not who you might think, but these country musicians (as many have) have made some of the most memorable contributions to music of all times. Today's "Artist's of the Day" are none other than Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

While Waylon Jennings inspired many, he sang his way into the hearts of millions. His touching vagabond style made women and men alike sing to his songs. Waylon collaborated with many musicians over the years and put his best foot forward to make every song memorable. Now Willie Nelson on the other hand is a true vagabond style country singer. Willie's tunes all have some meaning behind them and most are about his experiences, dealing with life in general which make them dear to all. Willie has been up and down but always keeps the faith, which makes him an even stronger musician. You will find Willie's name behind some of the most amazing organizations like the National Vetrans Federation, Habitat for Horses among the many that he supports. I hope you all realize how hard it is to make a decision on just one artist as they are all amazing in their own ways. I hope you all enjoy my first "Country Artists of the Day" and the contributions they have made in music, life and the organizations they stand behind.

Cheers :)
